Want to take your CBT on a Scooter?

CBT VespaMany people are looking for an alternative to their car for commuting to work or for short local runs where the size and cost of a car is just not practical. However, among this group there are many who don’t want or need the full range and power of a motorcyle and don’t want the extra time and expense associated with learning to ride one.

Scooter ownership is a great easy way to get on to two wheels all you need to do is take a CBT on a scooter and you are done. Depending on your age you may be restricted to a 50cc moped, but once that restriction is passed you will be able to ride a 125cc scooter, and a 125cc will be enough for local use. CBT Scooter – What equipment do I need?

Where can I take my CBT on a Scooter?

The fact is that most CBT training centers are equipped with scooters. Use some of the links on this site (look there are some just up there) , just give them a call or drop them an email and ask about doing your scooter CBT. I am yet to meet a motorcycle instructor that is not helpful and friendly. They will not look down on you because you don’t want to ride a sports bike.

If you are lucky enough to have more than one training center near to you, why not ask them what scooters will be available for you to do your scooter CBT. It might then be a case that you can select a center based on them having a scooter like the one you want to buy (a great way to test risde one while you learn).
